The sculpture stands right in front of the main entrance to the music school in Struer, and is an attempt to express music in granite.

The local artist Hans Felthaus has solved this puzzle by sculpting different music instruments into the three granite pillars.

If you know notes, you will immediately recognise the note line which runs along the portal’s bar. It is the first line from the song ’Blæsten går frisk over Limfjordens Vande (The Wind Blows across the Waters of the Limfjord)’.

The sculpture was set up in 2000.
